It may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think about grilling, but there are quite a number of cheeses that you can grill without them dripping through the racks. Other cheeses are great melters that pair well with your grilled burger.
We selected the following grilling cheeses:
Halloumi (8 oz.) - The best cheese to grill - ever. Imported all the way from Cyprus, this cheese is made from a mixture of cow, goat, and sheep milk. Its defining characteristic is the unmeltable melt. Really something to try.
Cooper's Mill (8 oz.) - An English pub cheese similar to Cotswold, that melts easily and has finely chopped onion and chives mixed with the cured. This cheese a worthy addition to your burgers, your potato or rice dish.
Bread Cheese (10 oz.) - A Finnish cheese made in the USA, called Juustoleipa. Like the Halloumi, Bread cheese does not melt, but it does become softer than the Cypriotic cheese. Serve it with honey, lemon, or do as the Finns, dunk it in your coffee
Danish Blue (8 oz.)- A Scandinavian response to the great Roquefort; this one comes from Denmark. Place this on top of your burger and whatever you have left over, toss it into your salad.
Please note that we will substitute any item that is temporarily out of stock with a similar item of equal or greater value.
