Beautifully vibrant; deliciously aged. Thomas Hoe Stevenson began making cheese in the Vale of Belvoir in the late 1800’s. This award-winning Clothbound Aged Red Leicester is made using a traditional recipe; the cheese is buttered, clothbound and matured for approximately 6 months to produce a crumbly texture, and slightly sweet, caramelized flavor and rich golden orange hue. Long Clawson's Thomas Hoe Stevenson Clothbound Aged Red Leicester is the only pasteurized Red Leicester produced in Leicestershire county and is a cheese that is appreciated worldwide.

This Leicester cheese will add flavor, color, and dimension to your cheese board; pairs well with fresh apples and whole grain mustard, and buttery crackers.

In 2015 this traditional British cheese received a Gold Award at the International and British Cheese Awards.
