This strong Welsh cheddar was created by a man from South Wales from a community of 'colliers'. Colliers is a term for miners, who would traditionally have cheddar in their lunch, sustaining their work in the mines underground.
Produced in Northern Wales, this cheese is made in honor of the Welsh mining tradition. A creamy cheddar aged long enough to develop a slight crystalline-crunch in the texture. Balanced, powerful, and savory yet slightly sweet.
A perfect match for ale or beer, or even a glass of wine. Like all cheddars, great with fruit, crackers, and jam too.
Ingredients:pasteurized cow's milk, salt, starter cultures, rennet.
