Family run Sequatchie Cove Creamery demonstrates local southeastern Tennessee terroir, history, and sustainability. Locally grown fig leaves are macerated in Chattanooga whiskey before encasing a wheel of this award winning, pasteurized cow’s milk, blue.
Its creamy texture belies the sweet and fruity interior which gives way to hints of bacon and dark chocolate towards the rind. This cheese pairs well with dried fruits, raisin bread, salads and steaks.
We hand-cut and wrap this cheese in wedge of 1 pound and 8 ounces and you can purchase an entire wheel of approx. 6.5 pounds.
