Named after one of the first settlements in central North Carolina, Snow Camp cheese is a mixed cow's and goat milk bloomy rind cheese. the name is also appropriate looking at the cheese, a tiny beautiful snowy white delicate button-shaped cheese.
Released at only 2 weeks, the cheese is bright, lactic and tangy. Over time the cheese softens and the flavors intensify, evoking creme fraiche, mushrooms and cultured butter.
