Danish cheesemakers created this Danish Blue to be all their own, after tasting the great blues from France. Inspired by blues like Roquefort, Danish Blue is a cow’s milk blue cheese made in Denmark.
Offering classic blue flavors, this firm blue has a healthy distribution of blue veining. The cheese is a balanced salty, creamy, and tangy with that classic earthy blue flavor. A great fridge staple for cooking, crumbling, or slicing on a cheese board.
We hand-cut and wrap Danish blue in wedges of 4 ounces and 1 pound. You can also buy an entire wheel of approx. 7 pounds.
