It was back in the sixties that the Irish Dairy Board was formed to "promote, facilitate, encourage, assist, coordinate and develop the exportation of milk and milk products". Years later; many Irish milk products are available in many countries, including here in the US.

Kerrygold's Aged Irish Cheddar is made with milk from cows that roam and graze in lush pastures of tender grass. From this idyllic environment and extraordinary diet come luscious milk so rich in beta-carotene, it can turn cheddar cheese into a natural gold. Centuries ago this cheese was made by monks. Today this pasteurized cow's milk cheese is made in a modern facility but still receives the same attention to detail.
Aged Irish Cheddar is aged for 1 year, resulting in a gourmet cheddar that is full-bodied, rich, and smooth. This Irish gourmet cheese is available in pre-cut 7 oz. pieces.
