Port Salut is a semi-soft pasteurized cow's milk cheese from Pays de la Loire, France, with a distinctive orange rind and a mild flavor. Port-Salut is frequently served with fruit and crackers.
Great for snacking or cheese trays, it has a a relatively mild and slightly sweet flavor. Port-Salut also melts easily, making it a good choice for a Mornay sauce or a grilled cheese sandwich. A true French classic.
