This cheese is made by the makers of Cambozola. Kaserei Champignon is a German creamery which specializes in making remarkably creamy blues. Grand Noir is aged in wax until it develops a depth of flavor, and a silky smooth texture.
This blue melts into creamy smoothness and is excellent for topping steaks, burgers, or simply enjoying with your beverage of choice. The black wax rind makes it a striking cheese board presence too.
We hand-cut and wrap this cheese in wedges of 1 pound and 8 ounces. You can also purchase an entire wheel of approx. 5 pounds.
