Celebrated chef Jose Andres selected premium olive varietals from the estate of Casas de Hualdo, near the storied city of Toledo. Much like the grapes that produce fine wine, each kind of olive has a distinct flavor profile and aroma. This tasting kit is a fun way to taste and discover the different flavors of Spanish olive oil.

Four bottles of 0.84 fl.oz. or 25 ml, each with a different Spanish olive oil:
Arbequina - Yielding mild, fruity oil with a subtle palate of fresh herbs, tomato and artichoke, stirred by Mediterranean breezes. Great in salads.
Picual - A vigorous and fruity oil, with hints of green leaf, banana and mint and a slight peppery finish. With an excellent fatty acid content, Picual stands up well in cooking and a superior dipping sauce.
Cornicabra - A robust olive oil with spicy notes and slightly bitter edge. With its green leaf and apple flavors, it is perfect in rice dishes and seafood, or in pasta and paella. It is just as delicious fresh, for sauces and dipping.
Secret Blend - Jose Andres' Secret Blend, the Maestro de Almazara - literally, 'master of the olive press'. An exquisite blend of Spain's finest oils with passion and respect for nature's gifts.
