Jamon Serrano or Serrano ham is the traditional Spanish country ham that you see in just about every bar and restaurant in Spain. This deboned version is ready to slice, and is ideal for use in an electric slicer, especially when you're not an experienced ham slicer - this might be the best way to go and avoid injuries and embarrassment.
A whole bone-in ham may be more dramatic and authentic, but a boneless ham is actually more economical. This Serrano ham is boneless and weighs approximately 12-13 lbs.
