La Tur is a small super soft Italian cheese made from a mixture of cow's, sheep's, and goat's milk. It's Italian, made in the Langhe region of Piedmont, Italy, by cheese craftsmen Caseificio Dell’Alta Langa company.
It kinda looks like a muffin of cheese. This gourmet cheese is a brie with an attitude; a little funky, a little tangy, gooey at room temperature, and difficult to hold shape in its superthin wrinkly rind.
You can pairing this cheese with any cracker or bread. As far as drinks are concerned, try a red wine from the Piedmont Region rose wine or bubbles; a Champagne, Cava, or Prosecco.
Note: La Tur has a short shelf life, so please purchase this cheese close to the time you intend to enjoy it.
