Tahini is a paste made from ground sesame seeds and it's a staple in many cuisines, especially in the Mediterranean and the Middle East. It’s vegan, gluten-free, tastes nutty.
Arguably the most well known way to use tahini is when making hummus. Other applications for tahini are baba ghanoush (an eggplant dip),salad dressing, in sweet desserts or drizzled over fruit.
