Summer Black Truffles lasts a bit longer than winter truffles due to their thicker skin and a longer season (approx. May – Sept.) for these reasons Summer Truffles are lightly less in cost than their winter counterpart.
Packed in a tin or jar, you can enjoy them year-round. They've been brushed clean, packed in brine and preserved in a water-based truffle juice.
Use the juice for the base of a vinaigrette. Enjoy the truffles pureed, minced, or sliced in pastas, omelets or risottos. For a special treat, grate over popcorn.
